Hello and welcome. My name is Karina Manarin and I am an artist, textile connoisseur, illustrator and pattern enthusiast. I received my BFA from Arizona State University in Fibers. I live in Arizona with my boyfriend and two tiny doggies. I am vegan and try to make kind and friendly choices in all aspects of my life and art.
I have a highly unfocused mind and cant easily commit to just one project or medium so you will find me dallying with dyes, paints, pigments, prints, markers, metal, wood and photography. I have a serious love for patterns, geology and vintage art books.
I used to make giant printed textile pieces such as this:
