South Mountain Preserve

A few weekends ago I took a little drive into the heart of South Mountain, which is actually a series of little mountains surrounded by the city of Phoenix. It's the largest city park in the United States, and 14 miles long of desert "wilderness". Its just kind of crazy you can drive from one of the most populated areas in the United States to being almost totally alone surrounded by mountains within minutes. I also took the drive to the iconic towers at the top of the hills.

These photos I took up on a lookout on top of South Mountain looking down onto Phoenix below. I experimented with some exposure settings and moving the camera around.

I finally learned how to work my camera settings for these ones!
